2:12:1 Now on the third day there was a wedding at Cana128 in Galilee.129 Jesus’ mother130 was there,
2:22:2 and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.131
2:32:3 When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine left.”132
2:42:4 Jesus replied,133 “Woman,134 why are you saying this to me?135 My time136 has not yet come.”
2:52:5 His mother told the servants, “Whatever he tells you, do it.”137

2:62:6 Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washing,138 each holding twenty or thirty gallons.139
2:72:7 Jesus told the servants,140 “Fill the water jars with water.” So they filled them up to the very top.
2:82:8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the head steward,”141 and they did.
2:92:9 When142 the head steward tasted the water that had been turned to wine, not knowing where it came from143 (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), he144 called the bridegroom
2:102:10 and said to him, “Everyone145 serves the good wine first, and then the cheaper146 wine when the guests147 are drunk. You have kept the good wine until now!”
2:112:11 Jesus did this as the first of his miraculous signs,148 in Cana149 of Galilee. In this way he revealed150 his glory, and his disciples believed in him.151

Cleansing the Temple

2:122:12 After this he went down to Capernaum152 with his mother and brothers153 and his disciples, and they stayed there a few days.
2:132:13 Now the Jewish feast of Passover154 was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.155

2:142:14156 He found in the temple courts157 those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables.158
2:152:15 So he made a whip of cords159 and drove them all out of the temple courts,160 with the sheep and the oxen. He scattered the coins of the money changers161 and overturned their tables.
2:162:16 To those who sold the doves he said, “Take these things away from here! Do not make162 my Father’s house a marketplace!”163
2:172:17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal164 for your house will devour me.”165

2:182:18 So then the Jewish leaders166 responded,167 “What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things?”168
2:192:19 Jesus replied,169 “Destroy170 this temple and in three days I will raise it up again.”
2:202:20 Then the Jewish leaders171 said to him, “This temple has been under construction172 for forty-six years,173 and are you going to raise it up in three days?”
2:212:21 But Jesus174 was speaking about the temple of his body.175
2:222:22 So after he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture176 and the saying177 that Jesus had spoken.

Jesus at the Passover Feast

2:232:23 Now while Jesus178 was in Jerusalem179 at the feast of the Passover, many people believed in his name because they saw the miraculous signs he was doing.180
2:242:24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people.181
2:252:25 He did not need anyone to testify about man,182 for he knew what was in man.183
