| 28:1 | WHEN the Sabbath was over, just as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary from Magdala and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. |
| 28:2 | At that moment there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven, went forward and rolled back the stone, and sat down upon it. |
